Open Question: I can't sync jailbroken apps to my iPhone when I could previously?

I am currently using firmware 3.0 and iTunes 9.0.3.15; in the past, I have been able to add jailbroken apps to my iPhone. Now however, only legit apps that have been marked in the applications list get added, the progress bar shows that it is adding the jailbroken app for 1 second then disappears and the tick next to the app disappears and the sync finishes. I have no clue what is going on and also what I should do next? Any help is appreciated, and no, it is not an authorization issue.
